A statement by Albert Einstein is very compelling, "Imagination is better than knowledge." We desperately want to join God in dreaming of the limitless possibilities of how the kingdom of God can break into our present context.
Here are a few dreams that we have:
We want every single member to make a personal commitment to pattern their lives after Jesus. We want to have high expectations for each person to make the daily choice to be a passionate disciple of Jesus Christ.
We aspire to love our neighborhood. Our area is in constant transition. In 10 years, this could be a different looking place. No matter who moves into the area around us, we want to take seriously the words from John 1:14, "The Word become flesh and moved into the neighborhood."
We want to grow. First and foremost, we want people to come in contact with the power and presence of the risen Lord. Yet, we also desire to be a church that is growing in more people. We don't want to be consumed by numbers, but we would like to see our numbers rise.
