Bible study and faith formation are essential to the life of any faith community. We perceive what God is doing among us only as we understand the narrative of God's story found in scripture. Therefore, an essential part of our education here at SWC is learning the biblical narrative. By understanding that narrative we learn to honor God and to do good (Deut. 4:10; Isa 1:14) Our aim is to become better followers of Christ, better servants of God.

While a variety of classes are offered at the adult level on Sunday mornings, they are intergenerational by design. We want to build relationships across generations. Some are traditional lecture format while others are more discussion oriented.

On Sunday’s, we have age-appropriate classroom experiences for children of all ages. Our junior and senior high youth meet in our Teen Building and are led by our excellent youth minister Steve Sargent. Likewise, newborn children to 5th graders will find a place as well, taught by caring and compassionate servants.
